The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks – CRP RRBs-XV for recruitment of Group "A" Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group "B" Office Assistants (Multipurpose).

The recruitment process will be conducted for participating Regional Rural Banks across India. Candidates can apply for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and may also apply for one post in the Officers cadre, i.e. Scale-I, Scale-II or Scale-III. Separate applications and fees are required for each post.

The online application process will remain open from 01 September 2026 to 21 September 2026.

For example, widows/divorced women/women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried receive specified age concessions for Office Assistant posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB.
• Working knowledge of computers is desirable.

Officer Scale-I – Assistant Manager

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Preference may be given to candidates having degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
• Local-language proficiency is required.
• Working knowledge of computers is desirable.

Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Preference may be given to relevant degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, IT, Management, Law, Economics, Accountancy and related fields.
• 2 years' experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II – Specialist Cadre

Officer Scale-III – Senior Manager

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Preference may be given to candidates with relevant qualifications in Banking, Finance, Agriculture, IT, Management, Law, Economics, Accountancy and related fields.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Local Language Requirement

For Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, proficiency in the prescribed local language is an essential qualification.

Negative Marking

There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks (one-fourth) for every wrong answer in the objective tests.
