UP Special TET Online Form 2026

The UP Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) 2026 notification has been released for eligible in-service teachers and special educators. The examination is intended for teachers who are already serving in eligible schools and is not meant for fresh or unemployed applicants.

👨‍🏫 Eligibility Criteria

The examination is primarily applicable to currently serving teachers and eligible special educators.

Eligible candidates may include teachers working in:

• State-run schools
• Local body schools
• Aided primary schools for Classes 1 to 5
• Upper primary schools for Classes 6 to 8
• Eligible special educators working with Children with Special Needs (CWSN)

⚠️ Important: Fresh applicants who are not currently serving in the eligible teaching categories are not eligible for this examination.

📝 Application Process

Candidates are required to complete the prescribed One-Time Registration (OTR) process before proceeding with the Special TET application.

After completing registration, candidates can fill in their application details, upload the required information/documents, pay the applicable examination fee and submit the application form.

Candidates should carefully verify all details before final submission.

💰 Application Fee

Note: The applicable fee may depend on the level/paper selected.

🎯 Qualifying Marks

Candidates belonging to the unreserved category are required to obtain 60% marks, equivalent to 90 marks out of 150.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to obtain 55% marks, equivalent to 82 marks out of 150.
